      Hi Estroher03,

My working space changes every day as sometimes I will be in an office/the lab/on the factory floor/somewhere else so I have to work with lots of different people. The working atmosphere is comfortable and professional in all of the environments but it changes in each environment too, as you can imagine with lots of different people doing lots of different jobs. My favourite environment is working on the factory floor doing the hands on jobs and having a joke and a laugh as we do it.

      Hi again 🙂

Yes it really is, we have really nice labs with lots of cool equipment to analyse samples and it is pretty big with lots of stuff to work with.

We also have something called a sensory kitchen aswell which is used to test food samples on people that are made which is pretty cool 🙂

My office has pretty big desks aswell which is always handy and a really cool coffee machine ( everyone decorates their desk with photos and other things to make it personal)

Good question! This really highlights an important point about being an engineer- how you can work within many different environments. I personally spend about 60% time in my office, 40% on the ‘shop floor’ where our production lines are. My office is lovely… the shop floor is a bit of a different story… very noisy and no windows! I have to wear a lot of gear like ear plugs and hair nets as well on the shop floor which isn’t exactly comfortable!

All part of the job though and you soon get used to it!
